Pre-Kindergarten Application Process

Pre-K Applications for the 2008-2009 school year are now available. You may pick up an application at any of the pre-k schools(Bethesda, College Grove, Fairview Elementary, Heritage Elementary, Hillsboro, Longview, or Nolensville). Applications should be returned to the school office. Completed applications will be accepted until Friday, April 5, 2008. All applicants will be contacted to set up a time for a mandatory screening and parent interview. Please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate, Social Security Card and 2 proofs of residence to the screening/interview.  No child will be eligible for WCS Pre-K until screening/parent interview and necessary paperwork is complete.    The pre-k program is open zoned.   If accepted into the WCS Pre-K program every effort will be made to place the child in a class closest to his/her zoned school. Only one application is necessary, please do not turn in more than one application. After all of the interviews/screenings are completed then the children who are most in need of the program will be accepted until all classes are filled. Acceptance letters will be sent by mail in June 2008. For more information please call 615-642-9955.
