Williamson County Schools is a K-12
school district with more than
31,190 students enrolled for the
2010-2011 school year.
There are 40 school sites:
eight high schools, eight middle
schools, 23 elementary schools, and
one K- 8 school.

program began during the
2000-2001 school year.

The Middle College High
School opened with the 1998-1999

students are enrolled at MCHS
during the 2010-2011 school
year.

years, our school district has
grown by an average of 1150
students each year.

There are 2246 certificated and
1717 support personnel in the
Williamson County School
District.

Of the professional employees,
52 percent have attained an
educational level of a Master's
Degree or higher; 49 percent
have a PhD or Ed.D.; and 22
percent have an ED.S.
The average teacher base salary
is $46,142.

in all elementary schools.

The School Board meets the
third Monday of the month beginning
at 6:30 p.m., and the County
Commission meets the second Monday
of the month beginning at 7 p.m.
