Overview of the Exhibit  The 2008 Superintendent's Art Show features some of the finest artwork created by students in the Williamson County school system.  More than 300 young artists from kindergarten through twelfth grade are included in this exhibition.

Appreciation  The art teachers of Williamson County would like to express their gratitude to Andrea Steele and the Frist Center for the Visual Arts.  Since the Frist opened its doors, its education department has worked closely with art teachers from Williamson and surrounding counties to provide a positive, creative experience for all students who visit the Frist.

February 2008

Dear Parents, Students, Teachers and Community Leaders,

Welcome to our fourth annual Superintendent’s Art Show at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts.  The outstanding student works on exhibit at this show represent the impressive and varied talents of students in the Williamson County Schools.  This show is also a tribute to the dedication and hard work of our teachers in the Williamson County Schools who nurture the talents and dreams of our students.

It is with great pleasure that I present this art show in partnership with the Frist Center and congratulate those students who have been chosen to represent their peers through their creative works.

Sincerely,

Rebecca S. Sharber
Superintendent
