School History
Fairview High School is located in northwest Williamson County and has been in existence since 1956 when it originally was called West High. Before 1956, Fairview students attended Williamson County's Hillsboro High School, Bellevue High and Hickman County High School. In 1982 the school moved into a new building at its present location at 2595 Fairview Blvd. A new science wing, a multipurpose auditorium/ gym and an auto mechanics wing have been added. The county also spent an additional $1.1 million at Fairview High School for the development of football and soccer practice fields, a new press box and an all-sports multi-purpose building. In a recent partnership, the Williamson County Parks and Recreation program has added lights to several of the athletic fields. 

Parent Support Organization 
Traci Bloodworth is the current PTO President.  PTO works in cooperation with the school to provide volunteers and fundraising support to the school and students. 

Academics
Fairview High has course offerings in the core areas with Advanced Placement opportunities in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies.  Course offerings also include interest areas and career fields including Agriculture, Automotive Service Technology, Business, Communications, Construction, Dual Enrollment, E-courses, Work Experience, Fine Arts, Foreign Language, Health Care, Information Technology, Leadership, Media and Communications, and Physical Education. 

Tutoring
Students have access to teachers for individual tutoring needs.  With an open lunch schedule, students are able to work with teachers on a daily basis outside the classroom setting.  In additions, there are opportunities for students to remediate using software in the core content areas.
