Academic excellence is an expectation for all students at Page High. The program at Page which works to promote, encourage, and develop academic excellence is called PRIDE (Providing Recognition and Incentives for students with the Drive for Excellence). Areas such as academic achievement, attendance, appropriate behavior/citizenship, improvement, and others are recognized. An academic reception is held in the spring for those receiving special recognition.
The Scholars Program at Page is designed to meet the academic needs of those students who desire to pursue a rigorous yet personally rewarding course of study. The purpose of the program, exclusive to Page High School, is to offer optimum opportunity for the student to achieve the best education possible at the high school level.
The senior project is a special program exclusive to Page High School. It is an energetic, integrated project designed to showcase the knowledge, skills, and creativity developed as a result of twelve years of education. Each student must investigate a special academic topic area and produce a research paper and product related to the topic. In addition, each student must prepare a portfolio to support and highlight the project and present the results to a panel of faculty and advisors with expertise in the subject area.
