Hi, my name is Becky Smith and I am a fourth grade teacher at Edmondson Elementary.  I recently moved down from fifth grade to fourth grade and I am excited about my new challenge!  I have always wanted to be a teacher since I was little.  My favorite subjects are Social Studies and Reading. 

I grew up in Huntsville, Alabama with my mother, father, and little brother.  After high school, went to school at Miami University in Oxford Ohio.  I graduated with a BS in Elementary Education and a concentration in Social Studies.  I was lucky enough to do my student teaching in Bamhoulder, Germany on an army base.  I began my teaching career at Harpeth Middle School in Cheatham.  I taught there for three and half years and then moved to Edmondson Elementary.  I taught fifth grade until I recently I moved down to fourth grade.  I have a master’s degree from Lipscomb, and have almost completed my Ed.S. from MTSU.

I am excited to begin another year at Edmondson!
