Aloha Parents and Students!!

I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year at Edmondson Elementary.

I grew up in the New Orleans area and attended LSU but earned my K-8 Bachelor's in Education from MTSU.  I was a stay-at-home mom for 13 years and then substituted and worked in the special needs preschool at Walnut Grove Elementary. I also have my endorsement in Gifted Ed.

This is my ninth year teaching at Edmondson. I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. I've loved teaching them all but I am THRILLED to be back in second grade!!!

I live in Franklin with my daughter Gracie, and our critters---2 cats, 1 dog, and Gracie has TWO ponies.  My oldest daughter,Katie, and her family live in Murfreesboro, and my son, James, and his family live in Fairview.  I love to spend time with my children and grand daughters. It's so much fun being a GiGi!! I also enjoy reading and traveling.  The two farthest places I have traveled to are... Hawaii and Kazakhstan.

I am thrilled to be a part of your children's lives.  I am looking forward to creating a fun and loving learning environment.

We are going to have the best year ever!!
