     I am excited to become a part of the Edmondson Elementary staff this year.  I student taught here 10 years ago and knew then it was a great school.  This is my 10th year of teaching, and my 5th year in Physical Education.  I spent my first 5 years teaching 4th grade before I moved to the gym.  Since I am only part time at Edmondson this year, I will be spending the other half of my school week at Heritage Elementary School as their Math Specialist. 

       I was born in Nashville and grew up in Williamson County.  I graduated college from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and then received my master’s degree in elementary education from Belmont University. I also went to Tennessee State University to take classes toward my PE certification. 

       My husband Corey and I were married in July of 2000.  We have 2 daughters, Katelyn (3) and Ansley (2).  We also have a dog named Peyton. 

     My goal as a PE teacher is to instill a love of activity in children.  I want every child to find activities that they enjoy doing so they will be active for life.
