Welcome!  My name is Darlene Shelton and I am honored to be a part of the third grade team.  I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin.  Prior to moving to Williamson County, I taught 11 years in the Shelby County School system in Collierville, TN.  For the past 8 years, I have done interim teaching positions in the county.  Finding I was eager to come back into education on a full time basis, I began teaching 3rd grade during the 2008-09 school year here at Edmondson.  My experience in education ranges from kindergarten-6th grade. 

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Rocky for 28 years with two children--Blake (22 years old) and Allie (16 years old).  We have another “baby” and it is our adorable dachshund dog named Pal.

I will only teach your child for one short year, a fleeting moment in their education, but I am looking forward to a productive and enjoyable year.
