About the Edmondson Elementary PTO

The PTO plays a vital role at Edmondson.  We welcome your input and your volunteerism.  Book Fairs, Teacher Appreciation, Community Outreach, Family Nights, and Field Days are just a few of the many events made possible by our wonderful parent volunteers.  Technology Teachers, Science Lab equipment and supplies, expert speakers and materials for professional growth, books, indoor recess activities,  and math manipulatives are just a few highlights of the rich learning environment made possible by your generous financial support.   

 

Every family is encouraged to show their commitment to Edmondson excellence by joining the PTO.  The membership fee is a $20.00 donation.  When you join, your family will receive a membership card which entitles your family  to free admission to our newly organized Family Nights.  You will also receive a school directory, which is invaluable when planning play dates or birthday parties.  Memberships fees also sustain our website, which we hope will keep you involved in your school and up to date on various events.

 

Typically, the PTO holds business meetings on the first Thursday of the month at 1:00 in the school cafeteria.  The meeting dates are TBA for the 2007-2008 school year. 

 

There are many volunteer opportunities in which you may partake.  You may indicate your desire to volunteer in either the INTERESTS section of the PTO Manager website or by contacting the Activity Leader for any of our EVENTS.  We are so thankful for the generosity of our volunteers at Edmondson.
