Edmondson Elementary serves grades K - 5.  School starts at 8:35 a.m. Monday through Friday.  Dismissal begins daily at 3:35.

School History
Edmondson's doors have been open since 1994.  Our doors were opened to accommodate the growing population in Brentwood and Williamson County as new families and businesses continue to move to our area.

We are located at 851 Edmondson Pike in Brentwood, TN.

From I-65 S.
Take the TN-253/CONCORD RD exit
Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp.
Turn LEFT onto SR-253.
Take SR-253 East (Concord Rd.) to Edmondson Pk
Turn left on Edmondson Pk, the school is on the right  

Before/After School Care

Out-of-school-time before- and after- school programs are designed to foster opportunities for young people to build skills, exercise leadership and form relationships with caring adults and their communities.  Using this approach, we create environments in which young people thrive!

Our programs are designed with input from our youth and involve and empower children.  Youth are actively engaged in their own development.  We focus on their strengths rather than weaknesses.  We see our youth as assets who contribute much to their communities and our after-school programs provide the setting and critical structure, resources and opportunities that will help your child grow and thrive.  Our kids have opportunities to VOICE, CHOICE AND CONTRIBUTE.

Parent/Teacher Conferences
The Edmondson Team includes parents, teachers, support staff and administration. Communication between home and school is highly valued at Edmondson. A formal conference may be scheduled in the fall and spring. After that point, parents and teachers request a conference whenever they feel necessary.  Fifth grade uses a Student-Led Conference system that enables the parent to hear first-hand what their child is doing in school.

Site Based Management
Site-based management is a process for effective change to meet the needs of students and the community. At Edmondson, parents, faculty, and staff serve on seven correlate teams, and working to improve education for all students.  Our building leadership team is responsible for the majority of the decision-making in our schools.
