Our 4th grade enjoyed a trip to James K. Polk's house in Columbia. We viewed a video about this Tennessee president, and then toured the house.  We learned about the lives of the people at this time in history.  Our tour guides were excellent and shared a lot of information with us.  Afterwards, we had a picnic at Woodlands Park in Columbia.
