Entered five events, won five events.

Thomas Sensing had two PRs and set a meet record in the shot.

Trey Hardison jumped into a strong wind and still managed decent jumps.

Trey looked better at the high jump than ever before. Witnessing Eric Thompson's 7'2 jump
at SIU and getting pointers from former 7'2 jumper Damon Lampley of Harrisburg, IL, has improved Trey's
approach.

This was a tough day for us, trying to get our field event guys together on the
first day back from spring break. 60 guys practiced as we sent only five to Brentwood.
Williamson County Schools did not provide transportation.

Prelims of the running events will be held on Tuesday, April 4.

Finals of the running events will be held on Thursday, April 6.

Congrats to Todd Campbell who signed today at noon with
the University of Tennessee (football ... wide reciever).
Todd also plans to run track at UT.

We had lots of impressive performances on a cool but sunny day.

Freshman Tyler Hawn ran splits of 73, 79, 75, and then blistered a 67 on his final lap
to run an incredible 4:54 mile.
Tyler has never run track before this year and did not run cross-country.  Wow.

Freshman Taylor Shelton qualified in the 200 running 24.3 without using blocks.
Not bad for the second race of his life.

Rookie Deontrey Sisk was clocked at 53.97 in his first ever 4x4.

Sophomore Trey Miller shattered his personal record of 56.4,
running 53.4 to qualify in the 400.

Sophomore Jesse Hewitt ran two hurdle PRs (18.3 and 44.9).

Freshman Micheal Young looked strong in his first-ever 800 (2:18).

Freshman Troy Holler was clocked at 22.7 at the mid-point of his first-ever 300 INT.
He lost his balance landing after the fourth hurdle and took a fall.
After breaking his wrist running the hurdles in May-04 AND May-05 ...
we are thankful that no injury occurred.

Our 4x1 team was slick running 42.9.
After watching an entire season of bad handoffs in 05,
its nice to see our foursome mature.

Todd Campbell looked better than ever in the 200, running 22.4.

It was great to see John Hewitt return from illness and spring break,
running an easy 51.3 in the 400

We dominated the meet but lost to Lavergne 155-139.
They beat us in the field events where we won FIVE of the six events.
They outscored us in those six field events 73-55.
Not having a pole vault facility continues to haunt us.

Antonio Murry chose to attend the All-Region basketball banquet instead of the track meet.

Tom Divinnie of Brentwood ran a 4:22 in the 1600.
