Montgomery Bell Academy is the BEST high school track
facility I have even seen.
Two of everything, 9-lane track, ... everything is first class.
Very hot, 80-something degree, summer-like day.
Team Scores
Franklin 74
MBA 69
Father Ryan 42
This meet ends our regular
season.
We end the season UNDEFEATED
IN THE STATE OF TENNESSEE ... 89-0.
We beat everyone at Overton,
Lavergne, Brentwood, at the District Meet,
Vanderbilt, Riverdale, Tullahoma, and MBA.
Like all track teams, we were never at 100%,
never had our entire group
at a meet, never healthy ... but we won.
MBA outscored us 11-0 in the Pole Vault.
John Hewitt won three events.
Todd Campbell was a VERY CLOSE second to John Hewitt
in the 100 and 200. Todd had PRs of 11.2* and 22.3* ...
not bad for a sophomore.
Antonio Murry ... 1:58.7* ... WOW. Antonio ran 59.5 on his
first lap and 59.2 on his second.
Last Saturday he ran 54.5/64.9 ... he is still learning.
Trey Hardison PR'd in the TJ, 41'8*
Johnathon Haynes had a tough day with terrible blisters
from the hot track at Tullahoma.
Alec Holler struggled through two hurdles events. He has
been getting massage
and ultrasound treatments for his hamstring instead of practicing.
How about our B-team 4x1 of Johnathon Carter,
Donta Brown, Derrian Waters, and Jamarcus Lee
running 45.1, good enough to beat the A-teams from
MBA and Father Ryan?
Region Meet at Clarksville
Rossview ... top two individuals/relays advance ...
