Athletics

Coach John Wooden, the renowned basketball coach of UCLA, once said, “Success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.”  The athletic programs of Franklin High School are here to help each student gain the self-satisfaction of doing their best in all aspects of life.   The score of the athletic endeavors will show our teams to be winners of some events and losers of others, but the goal of FHS athletics is to build each individual to be the best they can be regardless of the score.

It is hoped that the fans of FHS will come out to cheer the teams and support the athletes and coaches with enthusiasm blended with good sportsmanship by encouraging the success of the Rebels and not the failure of their opponents. The example the fans, players, and coaches set for each other all work together to affect the reputation of our school.  Those associated with FHS know it has a dedication to excellence.  Please encourage that dedication.
