A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

Dance Auditions: 3pm in the auditorium January 22

PREPARE A 2 MINUTE LYRICAL , HIP HOP OR BELLY DANCE FOR THE ROLES OF THE COURTESEANS. A cd player will be provided. Although these roles require minimal singing, you will still need to audition at the vocal tryouts as well; These roles are for trained dancers but you must be able to carry a tune.

I will also be casting several tumblers and jugglers. If you have this talent please come and audition on this day for the Proteans.

Vocal Auditions 3pm Wednesday, January 23

ALL THOSE WANTING A ROLE MUST ATTEND THESE AUDITIONS AND COMPLETE THE VOCAL SECTION. Some roles do not require much singing but everyone will sing in the play.

We will all learn “A Comedy Tonight” you will then sing in groups of four for the first verse a in the second verse each person will sing on their own.

COLD READINGS

3PM THURSDAY, January 24

ALL THOSE WANTING SPEAKING ROLES SHOULD ATTEND THIS TRYOUT DATE. IF YOU ARE TRYING FOR A DANCER ROLE, YOU NEED NOT ATTEND. IF TRYING OUT FOR A PROTEAN YOU NEED NOT ATTEND AS WELL.
