service and leadership, strong moral character and commitment to community.
FHS may nominate only one student.

Wendy’s High School Heisman:
no monetary value;
this is a nationwide recognition program for both a
male and
female athlete who have an overall
“B” average and show strong citizenship.
Deadline: October 3rd.
Eugene McDermott Scholars Program @ University of
Texas/ Dallas:
full tuition for four years; ACT 32 +; criteria include ranking in
top five percent of senior class, community volunteerism and school
leadership. Deadline:
November 1st.
