Verb test the week of August 11

Required Assignment

Each student registered for Spanish III Honors or III Honors Pre-AP/IB must complete the following assignment.

Go to Conjuguemos. If you already have an account, you must de-select your former teacher and select "Maestra Walker." If you don't have an account or can't remember your log-in and password, set up a new account by using 178 as the school code.  This eliminates entering an email account and waiting for an email confirmation.  Again, be sure to select "Maestra Walker" as your teacher!

In order to master the verb tenses you have worked on the past two years, it is important to practice them on a consistent basis over the summer.  It will not help you to try to complete all the quizzes in one day!  Take your time and practice your verb tenses throughout the weeks until you can easily complete the following seven quizzes with a minimum of 50 attempts in 5 minutes and a score of at least 85%.

Any quiz with less than 50 attempts, scores below 85% and/or 5 minute time limit removed will not be accepted.  You may click on “ALL but vosotros” under “Choose your pronoun” but all other settings must remain the same.  Click Record/Send and your scores will be e-mailed to Maestra Walker.  If after numerous practices over several days (which must be documented on your account), you are unable to reach 50 attempts with a score of at least 85% within 5 minutes, you may add one minute to your time (6 minutes).  Click on “My Teacher’s Zone” to view your scores and double-check that all attempts, scores, and time limits have been recorded on your account.  No print-outs will be accepted; scores must be e-mailed and recorded on your account.

The following three quizzes are to be recorded & sent electronically to Maestra no later than June 30:

#6 PRESENT TENSE – ALL VERBS

#20 PRESENT PROGRESSIVE – ALL PARTICIPLES

#21 PAST PROGRESSIVE – ALL PARTICIPLES

The following four quizzes must be recorded & sent electronically to Maestra no later than July 31:

#10 PRETERIT TENSE – ALL VERBS

#11 IMPERFECT TENSE – ALL VERBS

#27 TÚ COMMANDS

#28 UD. COMMANDS

If you are going to be on vacation or away from a computer for an extended period, plan ahead! Remember, a minimum of 50 attempts with a score of at least 85% within 5 minutes! ¡Buena suerte!

Upon your return to school there will be a test over these seven verb tenses.
