You are one quarter into your freshman year, and graduation will be here soon. Decisions you are making now are affecting your future. The purpose of this assignment is to allow you to evaluate your current decisions and explore your future options.
Components:
Research resulting in an annotated bibliography. (An annotated bibliography is a list of citations to books, articles, and documents. Each citation is followed by a brief (usually 150 words) descriptive and evaluative paragraph—the annotation. The purpose of the annotation is to inform the reader of the relevancy, accuracy, and quality of the sources cited (Cornell).) A. You will research a possible future career path or goal and will investigate methods to reach that goal. This may include educational pathways and activities that may help you reach your goals.
B. Your annotated bibliography will consist of a minimum of six sources. A maximum of three sources may be reputable websites. The other sources may be electronic but not websites.

Due Date for Rough Bibliography: Monday, 15 November
Due Date for Final Bibliography: Wednesday, 1 Dec
Create a two to four minute speech in which you expound on your research. You will create a visual to enhance your speech. Examples include: a flow chart, a timeline, etc.
Speeches will begin on Friday, 3 Dec
Create an accurate and honest working resume so that you may examine your achievements to this point.
Due Date: Tuesday, 23 Nov
Explore
community service options. You will receive extra credit for
participating in five hours of community service. Create a list of
five specific possible community service opportunities, the purpose
of those opportunities, and the methods to engage in such
activities.

Create a letter of request for a recommendation.
