Exploring TED

http://www.ted.com/

TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, and Design.  The annual conference now brings together the world's most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives (in 18 minutes).  As the website states: "We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world. So we're building here a clearinghouse that offers free knowledge and inspiration from the world's most inspired thinkers, and also a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other."  Education is in part about sharing ideas; so, TED Talks can enrich a classroom and a thinker.

Spend some time exploring the talks.  Spend your session time watching those that could be useful in school.  Record your responses on the form below.
