Using the Mobile Laptops

Plug in gray cord in back of laptop unit into outlet.

Unplug your computer network cable from network port and plug in blue cord from back of mobile unit into the port.

Make sure mobile unit is turned on.  Switch is in the back of the unit.

Use keys to open the unit.

Have students select a computer to use.  Have them unplug the black cord from the laptop and push wire back into slot.

Have each student sign the computer lab sheet next to the number computer that they have selected.

To turn on computer, press circle at the top of the keyboard and hold down a few seconds until it comes on.

To use the internet, go to Start-Programs-Internet Explorer.

When students have completed their assignment, have them shut down the computers by going to Start-Shut Down.

Have students place their computer back into the correct slot and have them plug the black cord back into the side of their laptop.  This is an important step for recharging the computers.

Make sure all cords are untangled and pushed into the correct slots.  Make sure all laptops are accounted for before students leave the room.

If you have a computer whose power is low, unplug the charger from the unit.  Find an outlet in your room and plug it in.  Plug the other end into the computer that needs recharging.
