Tutoring There are many opportunities for tutoring available at Franklin High School. Each student's guidance counselor can help students determine the best option available to them.
After school tutorials are offered
at FHS in several courses. Sessions are usually held several nights a
week for a 1- or 2-hour block of time, though some occur before school
starts. Teachers should be asked if such tutoring is available for the
course.
•After or before school help sessions are often scheduled
by individual teachers.
•The Learning Lab has a certified teacher to help
students during study hall time.
Peer tutoring is also avaiilable during this time.
•ACT and SAT Prep classes are offered at
FHS at specified times.
The Counseling Center informs students as to
the scheduling of these classes.
There
are several organizations in the area that offer
free tutoring to students in need.
Information may be obtained in the
counseling center.
There are also several tutorials that charge
for their service.
