If you would like to be published in Franklin High School’s Literary Arts Magazine, please bring a hard copy of your entry to room 108 and send a digital copy to susano@wcs.edu.  We need short stories, poetry, essays, photos, and original art work.  The deadline is December 2.

Buying poinsettias for the holidays?  The Lady Rebels Lacrosse Team is selling beautiful locally grown plants available in 3 colors and sizes.  Support the team and order now through Sunday, Nov 22.  Order from a player.  Plants will be delivered to you Dec 1 & 2.

We will start pre-selling tickets to the Friday playoff game @ Brentwood High.  You may purchase tickets starting Tuesday thru lunch Friday in the front office $8.00 cash only.

HOSA will be meeting in Dr. Tanksley's room (Rm 315) on Thursday at 12:30. It is important that all members working on the blood drive be at this meeting.

Attention Thespians! The next meeting will be held immediately after school on Monday, November 23.  If you are planning on attending the murder mystery party you must have your $3.00 in by this meeting.

OPEN MIC AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD DURING SIXTH PERIOD AND IMMEDIATELY AFTER SCHOOL ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19^TH IN THE AUDITORIUM.  OPEN MIC WILL BE PRESENTED ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4 FROM 7-9PM.

Scrabble Club will meet after school in the library until 4pm on the following Fridays:  November  20^th and Dec. 4^th.

This year’s Basketball Pep Band is now forming for the upcoming season.  If you play a rhythm section instrument such as guitar, bass, keyboard, or drum kit; have minimal reading skills; and can play rock, jazz,  or funk styles;  contact Mr. Moose to show your interest.  Rehearsals will begin within the next two weeks.

It is time to order your 2010 REBEL Yearbook. Order  forms were mailed to the home address listed in the FHS records. Extra copies of the form are available in the front office.  The deadline to order is January 18, 2010.
