Class Procedures
There will be a daily entrance activity or
instructions on the board at the beginning of every class
period. Each
student will be expected to be in their seat working on this
WHEN class time begins as well as having their
class planner.
Any student
who is not will be considered tardy which will result in a
lunch detention after the 3rd tardy.
These activities will be checked periodically for
completion and recorded as part of their responsibility
grade.
Infraction of behavioral issues will be addressed by the
“Positive Behavior
Support” system in which a student will receive “checks”
for noncompliance per each teacher’s posted guide lines.
Grades
Grades will be broken down into two categories; one
as content related and the other as student responsibility.

absence (except for absence due to suspensions during the
mid-term or final examinations) .
See Also Board Policy 6.316
All
missed class work or tests from excused absences may be made
up provided the student makes the request immediately upon
returning to school, and provided class time is not taken
from other students.
Make up work should be completed for the first day
missed within three days after returning to school.
If the makeup work is not completed within three
days, the absence may be considered to be unexcused.
If a student misses one day and that day was
scheduled a test day, then the student should make up the
work on the next day in school.
If a student misses one day and returns on the test
day, the student should take the test on the scheduled test
day, if the test was announced prior to the student’s
absence.

Student Performance
Your student’s grade will be monitored throughout the
year. If your
student’s average falls below 75, we will be in contact with
you to schedule a required meeting to put a plan in place.
Please feel free to contact me about any concerns you
