Plot:

This book is about a boy named Jim who worked and lived at an inn. They discover an old pirate has been staying at their inn. Shortly after other pirates give him the black dot he dies. Now this pirate had a treasure map, and Jim decides to go to an island to find this treasure. Then they find out they have pirates on their crew, and all they want is the treasure. There are many fights. Then they devise a plan to save themselves, and the treasure to.   Find out the end; read it!

good:

It has a good story line.

weaknesses:

It is too detailed; it makes you feel like every other word describes the next.

weaknesses:

There is not really a bad part to the book, but there is one part where a teenager and his girlfriend stop on the side of the road to help the boys.  I would have liked to have heard more about what happened with them.
