Plot Summary:

It takes place at Katie and Marylyn’s school and in their subdivision.  The book is about how two girls have just entered middle school and are separated step by step.  A new girl comes along and tells Marylyn to stop being Katie’s friend.  Marylyn becomes a cheerleader and starts to ignore Katie.  But I won't give away the ending so if you want to find out, read it!

Good:

The text is very descriptive and includes foreshadowing and vivid descriptions.  It tells about Katie and how she has bad toes.  Marylyn on the other hand is quite preppy (according to the great describing).

Weaknesses:

I don't think the writing needs any improvement.   I think it is just perfect.
