Plot:

The Endless Steppe is about a girl named Esther who was taken from her home in Vilna to Siberia, a cold, harsh place for a girl of her age. On the way to Siberia, she had to ride in cattle cars and eat cabbage soup. They couldn't take a shower for a long time. When they reach land, they are happy until they learn that they have to undergo many things to leave this cold place!

This book starts out WONDERFULLY!!

weaknesses:

Started out great but then got awfully boring!!
