Cross Country

Coaches: Donna Bledsoe and Garrett Jackson

Cross country is a sport that requires stamina and endurance in running.  The courses are 1.5 miles long and are run on various types of terrain—through woods, fields or maybe even a little mud.  If you are one of the top runners in your class then you would be an excellent candidate for Cross Country.  We practice daily from the time school begins until the season is over—usually by the second week of October.  We do not cut runners so anyone that is interested may participate.  We stress improvement, pacing, and effort of every runner  Come join us next year.  Coach Bledsoe
