Adventure

Plot:

This story is about a little boy named Charlie Bucket. Charlie is very poor and eats dreaded cabbage for breakfast lunch and dinner. But, the one thing Charlie loves more than anything else in the world is chocolate. He only gets one candy bar a year. What’s worse is he lives next to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. On Charlie’s 10th birthday he finds out that Willy Wonka had put 5 golden tickets in 5 ordinary candy bars. Will he find one and get to win the surprise of a lifetime or take a tour with him?

good:

I thought Rhoald did wonders on his personification and humorous text. He made sure to stick with the subject and describe all of the rooms. I found out that he made a moral to the story for each person. Veruca- never spoil a child because no good will come out of it. Augustus- never put food before others. Mike- Watching TV kills brain cells. And finally Violet- always obey adults. Charlie is the perfect kid.

weaknesses:

There were no weaknesses in the book. It was very well reviewed. I think that he read the book to check over it.
