Plot:

 
The Baudelaires end up as castaways on an island with people that are strict with their customs. As the children try not to rock the boat the whole island colony turns against one another. Plus the children discover even more mysteries of their past.

good:

The plot was interesting. The characters' dialogue really keeps the story going. The style is almost mystery.

weaknesses:

The author has some parts in the book that aren't part of the plot that make the book drag on and get a little boring. He leaves a lot of mysteries unsolved. The book has a large variety of vocabulary.
