Adventure
Plot:
This story is about two
young children that live alone
and are never seen. They live in
an old house that their mother
cleaned before she passed away.
It was still standing next to
where they once lived.
Caretakers would come every once
in a while and try to take the
house. The two kids would try to
drag them away. But someone new
comes and the young girl begins
to like her as a good friend.
Will she give away the story
about her and her brother? Find
out in The Old Willis Place!
good:
The story is set back in the old
days when people passed away and
a caretaker would come and take
away whoever didn't belong
there. The two characters in
this book are two young kids who
lost their family and had stayed
in the forest where they lived
and waited for their parents.
They never took showers and were
disgusting. The writing style
makes me a little scared because
it's a ghost story.
weaknesses:
Some weaknesses are that the
author did not begin with a good
beginning at all. That made me
not want to read the book. I
still kept going. The characters
frightened me a little and I
didn't like them that much.
Where the children were was not
a safe place. They were in the
woods, deep in the woods. I
would not recommend this to
little children at all.
