Adventure

Plot:

This book is about a boy named Brian. He just survived 1 summer and winter in the wilderness after a plane crash. Now after he came home he practically became a star. He didn’t ever want to go back to the wild after that. One day a survival guide came to his house. He asked for Brian to go back to the wild and show him how he did it. After deep thought he decided and his parents decided the he would go. After he got there he showed his guide some tips. About a week later a big storm came and struck his partner. He found out his partner was in a coma. Now he had to find a way to take his partner in a coma [that weighed around 300 pounds] to refuge!! He made a boat and is now sailing down the river to find people. He made a homemade raft and is still unsure about it. Does his partner die of starvation or dehydration? You are going to have to read to see how it ends.

good:

This text was very descriptive. It would tell you how Brian did everything and when he did it. The plot was laid out unbelievably well.

weaknesses:

There were some parts that were unclear. Like when his partner was struck by lightning, I didn’t know if he was dead or alive for about the next five pages. For the most part though this book is awesome and I would recommend this to anyone.
