Fantasy

Plot:

 
 Percy Jackson, a demigod, is forced to go on a quest for his father, Poseidon, to clear his name from be blamed for stealing Zeus's all powerful lightning bolt. On his way, Percy and his friends, Grover and Annabeth, have to battle monsters trying kill him and into the underworld to make a deal with Hades. He has to retrieve the lightning bolt within 10 days or a war in Olympus will make a World War III.

good:

The plot stayed simple. Percy had the problem of getting used to being a half blood and retrieving the lightning bolt. The characters were explained very well. All the characters had had their own different personalities. The writing style was great. The whole book was written so that you could understand it.

weaknesses:

The book was written so well, the only thing that could be improved is that I wish it would've gone into a little bit more detail.
