Plot:

 This story is about a young woman and the brave heart to become one of the fastest runners in America. Wilma as a child was diagnosed with Polio. She was not able to run, so the doctor said. Wilma persevered and she ran in marathons.

good:

I like the text because she persevered. She did not let other's thoughts and actions bring her down. She kept on going.
That just goes to show that even though you have a disability you can do things too!

weaknesses:

I think that the weaknesses of the text are that, the book is short. I think that they should have given more information in the book. I think that I could find another book that would give me more info.

Ps. I think that it is cool because Wilma was from Tennessee!!
