Plot:

Kino, Juana, and their son Coyotito are very poor, and they get their money from finding pearls. Coyotito got stung by a scorpion and the bite/ sting was very bad. Then they needed money to go to the doctor, so they went and found this huge pearl and they thought it would turn their life around.

good:

Kino is the husband of Juana and the father of Coyotito. Juana is the wife of Kino and the mother of Coyotito. She wants to throw the pearl back because the pearl brings...bad luck.
Coyotito is the son of the family. The doctor is the bad person in this story; he tries to kill Coyotito so the couple will give him the pearl to fix Coyotito. This is a very good book, and I loved it.

weaknesses:

I think the book should have more details. I think that's all. I think if you did any thing else it would mess up the story.
