Adventure
Plot:
This
story is about a street boy that
became the whipping boy at the
palace. Anytime the prince did
something that deserved a
spanking, the whipping boy
received the punishment. The
prince was a brat and deserved
many whippings that the whipping
boy took without crying. This
made the prince angry. The
prince decided to run away
because he was bored and made
the whipping boy go with him. He
also didn't think he dad liked
him. What kind of trouble do you
think the prince go into? Read
and find out!
good:
Once the prince and the whipping
boy ran away from the palace,
they are kidnapped by two mean
men. The kidnappers think the
whipping boy is the prince
because of his education and his
manners.
The prince learns that he needs
to learn his lessons and take
responsibility for his actions.
The whipping boy teaches the
prince how to survive without
servants. While they are running
from the kidnappers they have
many challenges to overcome.
weaknesses:
The author sometimes makes
direct quotes from the
characters. It is in old English
which is a little difficult to
understand and I would have to
read it more than once to figure
out what was being said. Other
than that, the story was very
good.
