Frequently Asked Questions
The following is a list of questions that are frequently asked by library
users. Click on a question to jump to its answer. If you don't find the answer
to a question that you have, please feel free to ask Ms. Patterson or Mrs.
Bullard for help.
- How do I borrow library books?
- Please come to the circulation desk located in the middle of the library.
You will need to know your enture ten digit student id to check out a book.
- What are my responsibilities when I checkout library
materials?
- It is the responsibility of the student to protect the library books from
hard. Books love to be read and then returned in good shape for others to enjoy.
Books that are returned damaged or have been lost will warrant a fine or
replacement price. Boos not returned on time will be charged a fine of ten cents
perday, per book.
- Where do I return materials?
- When the library is open, you should return materials to the circulation
desk. Please check materials to make sure that you have not left anything
important in books.
- How long may I check out a book?
- Books circulate for a two-week period.
- How do I find books and things?
- Please log onto one of the computers. Then look for the WCS folder under the
start button. Then choose OPAC. OPAC stands for Online Public Access Catalog.
OPAC lists all the books we have in the library for you to check. You may search
by title, keyword, subject, or author. Please ask Ms. Patterson or Mrs. Bullard
if you need further assistance.
- What if a book is not on the shelf or the library doesn't
own it?
- Please fill out a book request form for book suggestions for the library.
