Adventure
Plot:
Holes is about a boy named
Stanleys Yelnats who is cursed
with bad luck. So, it comes to
no surprise when Stanley found
out he had a really expensive
pair of shoes in his backpack.
He's taken to court and tried
for robbery and is found guilty.
He has a choice, he can either
go to a camp called Camp Green
Lake or jail. Of course, he
chooses the camp. But what
could've been just a normal camp
trip for two weeks will change
his life forever.
good:
Louis Sachar is a great author
and he delivered another great
performance with this book. It
is an uplifting tail of wisdom
and courage and it shows it.
Louis should be proud about this
one because it has a strong
story line and keeps it all
together. All in all it's a
great book.
weaknesses:
This story I think had too short
of chapters. The book had about
five or six one page chapters.
It still is an ideal read but I
just don't get why he could've
just left out those one pages.
