Adventure

Plot:

 Edmond Dantes is the apex of his life. He is about to be married and a captain's position is given to him. While at his betrothal, police accuse and arrest him of treason, the result of  backstabbing, lust and envy. While in prison, Dantes learns of a fortune on the Isle of Monte Cristo from an old abbey. Once out of prison, Dantes collects the treasure and plans his revenge on the ones responsible for his imprisonment.

good:

The story had a great plot and the author executed it to perfection.

weaknesses:

Way too long! 1500 pages.
