Adventure
Plot:
Alex Rider was very suspicous
after hearing of his uncle's
death from being in a car
accident.He soon went to the
junkyard in which his uncle's
car was in perfect
condition,just several bullet
holes in the glass. Alex was
perplexed by the situation. Why
would the police lie about his
uncle's death? Alex was soon
recruited by M16 a secret
organization, the British
version of the CIA. He trained
for 6 weeks before going on his
first mission, to Sayle Company.
Herald Sayle was an Egyptian
millionaire about to release his
new computer. Alex knew there
was something wrong about that
computer, he had to find out
what!
good:
Horwitz is a very good action
writer. He includes a lot of
good detail in his writing as
well. He ends every chapter in a
way where you just have to keep
going or it will keep you in
suspense the whole day.
weaknesses:
I didn’t see a lot of weaknesses
in his writing. He describes all
the big parts very fluently but
what about the smaller parts? If
he gave them more detail it
would give the book more
suspense, making the reader
guess.
