Fantasy

Plot:

   In the book of The Ersatz Elevator, the Baudelaire orphans get a huge twist in life when they arrive at their new home with their new guardians Mr. and Mrs. Squalor. When the people of Dark Avenue decide whether things are "in" or "out" it is hard to keep up. Their new home seems kind of normal compared to their other lives, until a tall dark man, with an improper use of please, named Gunther shows up at their doorstep. What will happen to the Bualdelaire's future? And does Gunther being in their lives have to do with anything? What will happen to the Bualdelaires?

good:

This book was very good. The way the author described the Bualdelaire's strong emotions toward each other and Mr. Gunther is just astonishing. This book is one of the best in the twelve in the series. It got so intense and so mysterious I never wanted to put the book down. This book was awesome.

weaknesses:

This book did not have many weaknesses. But, it did seem like the mystery ended too soon. Also the text was kind of confusing because Mr. Gunther would jumble his words up. You had to read it two times to perfectly understand it.
