The following
standards will be addressed
through various grade level
appropriate activities each
nine-weeks in Technology
class.

Develop
an understanding of the
characteristics and
scope of technology.

Recognize
the core concepts of
technology.

Safely
use tools, materials,
equipment and other
technology resources.

Understand the meanings
of invention and
innovation.
-
Describe
how various inventions,
innovations and designs
have impacted society.

Understand the roles
that technology and
society play in the
problem-solving process.

Understand design and
other problem-solving
techniques
-
Demonstrate leadership,
citizenship, and
teamwork skills required
for success in the
school, community and
workplace through the
Technology Student
Association and or its
co-curricular classroom
activities.
