Being a student at the Fairview Middle School  involves many new challenges, such as adjusting to different teachers and classes, making new friends, acquiring good study habits, and learning to make important decisions.  The FMS counselors work to help students learn the skills necessary for a successful middle school experience.  These include seeing yourself as a very special person with abilities and talents which you can develop, decision making skills, academic and organizational skills, goal setting and career exploration.
