 Career Information
And Website listing for every College in the universe!

Students at FMS  have many opportunities to explore careers during their middle school years.   Starting next year, sixth graders will take the Career Game interest inventory, the seventh graders will take the Kuder Interest Inventory and the eighth graders will take the Explore test, as they have in the past.  All of these inventories will help students start to take a look at what career direction they may want to take.  The following GREAT websites provide additional career exploration.

Tennessee Career Information Delivery System    This is an awesome website for career exploration!  Students can take an interest inventory, explore a huge database of career/job descriptions, and then find out what colleges and tech schools have programs in the career area that they are interested in.

                                             Career Day a Huge Success!
With 32 Career Speakers (shown above) for the 4th Annual FMS Career Day, students were treated to an array of excellent presentations that represented a wide variety of career areas.  Students and staff alike are extremely grateful to all the speakers for taking the time out of their busy days to speak, and to Sissy Brinkley, FMS Counselor, who arranged and organized the day!  Also, a big thanks to the Beta Club members, who helped the speakers set up and made them feel at home, and to Gwen Hudlow, PTO president, who provided treats for the speakers.
