Testing Information 

 Fairview Middle School students take a variety of achievement tests and career interest inventories at each grade level.
 The following list of websites is includes most of the tests that you or your student will take.

 TCAP Test  The TCAP achievement test is given to all students in Tennessee each April.  This school year FMS students  will take the TCAP on April 17 - 21.  This website has a wealth of information about the TCAP and even has practice questions. Be sure to check it out!

 EXPLORE Test  All of our eighth graders take the Explore test each October.  This site explains all of the components of the test.  It includes an achievement test that has the same format as the PLAN (10th grade test) and the ACT college      entrance exam.  This is a great site to check out both before it is taken and after you get the results back.  From this site you can see the various parts of the world of work map and explore the details of career areas where you scored the highest.

ACT - This is the main ACT site that contains a College Search program.  You will find lots of college information here!
