Fairview High School National Recognition

Fairview High School has once again been ranked by Newsweek magazine as one of the top US High Schools across our country. In the ranking recently released in June 2009, our school is ranked 755th in the country.  Fairview High School also ranks as the 6th highest high school in the state of Tennessee.  For non-magnet schools with less than 1000 students, Fairview High School is the #1 comprehensive high school in Tennessee.  This is the fourth consecutive year that Fairview High School has earned this recognition.  For more information, please click on the following link: http://www.newsweek.com/id/201160/?s=TN&q=2009/rank/1.

Trimester Success!

In the past two years, Fairview High School has been recognized for its unique implementation of trimester scheduling throughout our state and we are proud that this schedule is now also being adopted by other high schools in Tennessee.  We would like to thank the students, staff, parents, community, central office and school board for their support throughout this process.  We would also like to thank everyone for their excellence in the classroom and our graduation success with two straight years of a 96% graduation rate!
