• The Chess club will meet in Mrs. Chapman’s room, C5, at 2:45 p.m. today.
• Cheerleaders will have a bus to the game on Friday. There will be seats available for $10 if you would like to go to the game.
• Fairview Students, Staff and Faculty: There are a lot of Veterans in Fairview that JROTC would like to recognize this coming Veterans’ Day. Instead of having a program in the gym, we want to get pictures of your family and friends who have served and create a slide show and a PowerPoint to use in our program. If you’ll bring pictures and tell us who is in the picture, along with what branch they served in and when they served, we’ll include them. Turn your pictures into any Cadet or JROTC instructor by Friday, November 6th, so we can scan them and get them back to you. Thanks!
• There is a contest to design a new spirit shirt for Fairview High school. If you are good at drawing a yellow jacket or are artistic, then this is for you! The top five drawings will be submitted to Mr. Myers and will be voted on by the student body. Please turn your drawings into Mr. Myers.

Attendance Items:

· Each excessive tardy to class results in a lunch detention

· Each unexcused absence results in two lunch detentions

Lunch rules:

· No cell phones

· No leaving campus

· No outside food (i.e. cannot have food from restaurants, etc. delivered during lunch)

· No eating in the gym, auditorium, and library

· Senior Outdoor Courtyard (SOC) is allowable for seniors only

· MP3 and/or Ipods okay during lunch

· If a student checks out of school during lunch, they are checked out for the day

· Cleanup after yourself.  If you make a mess, clean it up.
