Dear Parents/Guardians:

Beginning this school year, all Williamson County High Schools will be implementing late start student days throughout the calendar. The “Late Start” days will happen on Mondays throughout the school year and the student school day will begin at 8:15am on these days only. Below is a list of the dates for the Late Start Mondays.

Late Start Monday dates:

· August 20, 27

· September 10, 17, 24

· October 1, 8, 22, 29

· November 12, 26

· December 3, 10

· January 14, 28

· February 4, 11, 25

· March 3, 10, 31

· April 7, 14, 21, 28

· May 5, 12

Students who arrive at school on these Mondays from 7:00am to 8:10am will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities. The activities will include intramural competitions, breakfast time in the cafeteria, computer lab access, morning detention makeup, and other unique opportunities. All students are expected to be present in their first period classes by 8:15am on these days. Buses will run at normal times on these Mondays, so we anticipate for students who ride the bus to arrive at their normal time and will provide the opportunities mentioned above for their participation.

We are excited that Williamson County Schools has provided this opportunity to all of its high schools so that our teachers will be able to better plan together and create a positive learning experience for each of our students.
