1^st Trimester Essential Outcomes

1. Exhibit positive leadership skills.
2. Participate in SkillsUSA as an integral part of classroom instruction.
3. Analyze problem statements.
4. Express the essence of problem statements.
5. Express problem statements clearly.
6. Solve problem statements.
7. Perform the steps required of algorithms.
8. Use computer processes and features for problem solving.
9. Discover the limitations of number representation in a computer.
10. Assess the needs of users.
11.  Pass with 100% accuracy a written examination relating specifically to safety issues.
12. Pass with 100% accuracy a performance examination relating specifically to tools and equipment.
13. Maintain a portfolio record of written safety examinations and equipment examinations for which the student has passed an operational checkout by the instructor

2^nd Trimester Essential Outcomes

14. Design a program to meet the requirements of users.
15. Trap logical errors in a program.
16.  Apply principles learned in 1^st Trimester on complex problems
17. Assess situations and apply problem-solving and decision-making skills to particular client relations in the community, and workplace.
18. Demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively with others in a professional setting.
