Our goal for the kindergarten year is for each child to grow and reach his/her potential while developing a life-long love for learning.  We strive to meet the individual needs of each child through child-centered learning experiences and activities in the following subject areas.

Language Arts
Kindergartners will participate in a balanced literacy program which includes guided reading, modeled writing, and an exposure to a wide variety of children's literature.

Math
Mathematical skills are mastered through a hands-on approach.  Skills include sorting, classifying, patterning, graphing, measuring, telling time, beginning addition and subtractions, etc.

Units
Unit studies are designed to enhance a kindergartner's knowledge of the world around them.  Units include seasons, transportation, animals, etc.

Visit again as we will soon be adding new information about Kindergarten and from specific classrooms.
